An absolutely breakneck thriller movie is airing on TV tonight

Stephen Porzio

The sadly underseen gem has an 86% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Our TV movie pick for tonight (Friday, 12 July) is Last Passenger, an extremely tense 2013 British thriller.

It tells the story of a group of passengers, including a doctor (played by Dougray Scott, Mission: Impossible 2) and his son, on a night train from London.

What should have been a peaceful journey becomes a battle for survival as the passengers gradually come to the realisation that the driver of the vehicle has a dark plan for everyone onboard.

Released to rave reviews but a sadly limited cinema release, Last Passenger’s great cast full of recognisable British thespians, its taut and tight screenplay and its impressive special effects make it well worth a watch.

Holding an 86% score on Rotten Tomatoes, the film is airing tonight on the channel Legend at 9pm. It is also available to watch on the streaming service Plex.
