Euro 2016 has only just begun, but we’re already dying for next season to roll around.
No, we’re not sick of Europe’s premier tournament, we just can’t wait to get our hands on the latest FIFA release.
Sure, we got to have a go on it for a few hours already where we fell in love with the new ‘The Journey’ single-player mode but something else we noticed was just how slick the gameplay was.
The switch over to Frostbite for the game engine has allowed the heads at EA to bring in the biggest change up since the move to 3-D characters.
They’ve worked hard on making the physical play more physical (you know what we mean), giving you more control both on and off the ball. Your attacking play will be better too, with improved AI meaning the players make better runs.
On Monday afternoon, EA sneakily dropped another look at the game, with a first look at what it’s actually going to play like.
Featuring a voice-over from Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, the clip shows how FIFA they have translated the specific quirks of players like Eden Hazard, Antony Martial and Marco Reus into the game.
Oh, and they’ve promised to give you even more control over your set pieces too.
It’s all looking very promising ahead of FIFA 17’s September 27 release date.
