The Marvel TV Universe is going to get bigger.
After the massive success of Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, Netflix users might be thinking they can’t handle much more superhero action.
But this week saw Marvel unveil the final piece of their Netflix selection of superhero shows, releasing the very first trailer for Iron Fist.
Marvel goes kung fu? Yes please.
Iron Fist, aka Danny Rand is one of Marvel’s best hand to hand fighters in the comics. A master of martial arts (and Luke Cage’s best mate), expect more bone crunching fight scenes (probably set in corridors) when the series makes its debut with a 13 episode arc on 17 March 2017.
Iron Fist coming to Marvel is a Very Big Deal as it completes the solo adventures of all the The Defenders, a number of street-level heroes who act a lot like the Avengers.

Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist for a joint adventure sometime in 2017 to face off against a new villain…
*Whispers* We quite like Alien 3….
Announced this weekend at New York Comic Con, Sigourney Weaver will serve as the primary villain for The Defenders.
