Gustin has played the superhero in the television series since 2014
Fans of The Flash are calling for Grant Gustin to replace Ezra Miller as the superhero in the upcoming film, as uncertainty and controversy continues to surround Miller’s involvement.
The actor, who is set to start as The Flash in the upcoming was recently arrested for their involvement in a disturbance at a bar in Hawaii. Miller was charged for disorderly conduct and harassment.
According to Rolling Stone, Warner Bros. and DC executives have held an emergency meeting to discuss Miller’s future with the studio following this.
Those present at the meeting reportedly decided to “pause” any future projects involving the actor. This may include Miller’s appearance as The Flash in the upcoming Warner Bros. movie. set to be released in June 2023.
As a result of this, fans have taken to Twitter to voice their support for Grant Gustin to take over the role, with Gustin having starred as the DC superhero since 2014 in the CW television series.

Miller made their debut as The Flash in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, establishing that this cinematic incarnation of the character inhabited a different universe to that in the television series.
