This is The Nature Boy at his very best. Wooooo!
“Evert man wanted to be me. Because I had the nicest clothes, the biggest cars, the biggest house and more women. And I was the best wrestler.” – Ric Flair.
As ESPN’s upcoming documentary shows, there were no boundaries between Ric Flair’s ‘Rolex wearin’, diamond ring wearin’, kiss stealin’, wheelin’ dealin’, limousine ridin’, jet flyin’ son of a gun’ persona as a wrestler, and his life away from the ring.
Simply put, Ric Flair was real and that’s why wrestling fans absolutely love the 16-time world champion.
In recent months, Flair hasn’t been in the best of health after enduring surgery to have part of his bowel removed.
As soon as he was fit and able, the wrestling icon cut a promo to assure his fans that “Nature Boy…WOOO!.. is back up and running and looking as good as I can look.” Oh yeah, he was also wearing a t-shirt that said: “I ain’t dead yet motherf***ers.”
Vintage Flair.
Well, if you’re a fan of the Nature Boy then ESPN’s upcoming documentary is essential viewing. The 30 for 30 series has always been the benchmark for sports documentaries, but the latest footage is an absolute treat for wrestling fans.
Nature Boy had its premiere last night and it’s definitely something that you won’t want to miss. Wooooooooo!
