The ‘no sex’ rule on Friends was broken, David Schwimmer claims

Who was more than just 'Friends' on set?

Were they just good Friends? Or were they Friends with benefits?

It’s a question any fan of the iconic 90s sitcom has probably asked themselves dozens of times.

Surely during the 10 seasons for which the show ran, some of the Friends cast must have hooked up, right?

There have obviously been rumours and speculation down the years about the famous cast, which comprises David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow and Matthew Perry.

But now Schwimmer has pretty much confirmed it – saying the ‘no sex’ rule was well and truly broken.

The admission came during the long-awaited Friends reunion to celebrate the work of director James Burrows.

It came as the whole gang (minus Matthew Perry who is off doing a play) got back together to talk about old times.

Host Andy Cohen probed about the rumoured ‘no sex’ clause in the cast’s contract preventing them sleeping with each other.

After an awkward silence Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe Buffay, said “David, say something!”

And then the bombshell dropped as Schwimmer laughed “Well, that was broken.”

That’s another 20 years of Friends fans trying to guess whodunnit?
