That’s an awful lot of fake tan.
Love Island. We almost, but didn’t quite, forget about you.
At least, in these dark, dreary days, you are a reminder that soon there will be brighter, booze-filled evenings with tears and tantrums and lots of extremely tedious conversations about hair. And that’s just the men.
Yes, that most talked about TV show of 2017 is coming back and it’s looking for applicants.
Earlier this week it was announced that applications for the 2018 series were officially open to the public (and remain open until April), but on the date they opened, the show was hit with a staggering number of applicants.
Yep, it has been announced that the Love Island casting agency received a mega 60,000 applicants on launch day… 60,000! That’s a full to capacity Emirates stadium of potential Love Island contestants. That is a frankly terrifying thought.
The show which attracted over 2.4 million viewers last year is set to be bigger and better than ever before.
Applications remain open until April 30 and you must be available to film for the entire summer. If you think you have what it takes 0- and ‘by what it takes we mean the ability to be an absolute f****t in front of millions of people – and want to give it a shot, you can sign up here.
