This looks absolutely brilliant.
After The Defenders finished on that gripping cliffhanger, it’s very likely that the violence in New York is going to escalate as The Hand looks to strike back.
One person that doesn’t give a crap about heroes or villains is Frank Castle, and as we saw in the second season of Daredevil, Jon Bernthal absolutely nailed the intensity, physicality and brutality that’s required to play the beloved vigilante.
Aside from the violence and bloodshed, Castle’s scenes with Karen Page (Deborah Ann Wool) also resonated because it offered us a tragic glimpse at a man that’s still haunted by the murder of his family.
We’re delighted to say that she’s returning in the standalone series along with Ben Barnes as Jisaw and Ebon Moss Bachrach as Microchip. They’re also going to be joined by Amber Rose Revah, Daniel Webber, Jamie Ray Newman, Jason R Moore, Paul Schulze and Micheal Nathanson.
The original trailer made us incredibly excited and Marvel have just released the opening titles.
We’re massive fans of the opening titles for Daredevil and Jessica Jones in particular, but this latest effort is an absolute doozy.

In what’s a very cool nod to Castle’s military training, they also released the episode titles in Morse Code.
ScreenRant have deciphered these cryptic titles and revealed that the episodes will be called;Â 3 AM, Two Dead Men, Kandahar, Resupply, Gunner, The Judas Goat, Crosshairs, Cold Steel, Front Toward Enemy, Virtue of the Viscous, Danger Close, Home and Momento Mori.
At the present moment, a premiere date hasn’t been set but we’ve a feeling that this is going to be bloody brilliant.
Emphasis on the bloody.
