Star Wars meets Saving Private Ryan.
That’s the elevator pitch for Star Wars Rogue One, the new Star Wars film that’s coming to our screens this winter.
Set in between Episode III and IV, Rogue One will see a band of Rebel fighters going deep being Empire lines to steal plans for the Death Star.
Directed by Godzilla helmer Gareth Edwards, and starring actors Felicity Jones, Donnie Yen and Forest Whitaker among others, Rogue One is the first of many “side stories” Disney are planning to release in between their new trilogy.
If the new trailer is any indication, they’re off to a good start.
