Not long left to go now
There’s no denying that Netflix have been absolutely on top of their game so far this year.
From Russian Doll to Dirty John; Velvet Buzzsaw to FYRE, there has been no shortage of binge-worthy documentaries, TV series or films to watch.
And their latest movie, which is giving us some serious Bird Box and A Quiet Place vibes, looks to be no exception.
The description for The Silence reads:
“When the world is under attack from terrifying creatures who hunt their human prey by sound, 16-year old Ally Andrews, who lost her hearing at 13, and her family seek refuge in a remote haven.
“But they discover a sinister cult who are eager to exploit Ally’s heightened senses.”
Directed by Annabelle’s John R. Leonetti, the film will arrive on Netflix on April 12.
Stanley Tucci, Kiernan Shipka, Miranda Otto, John Corbett, Kate Trotter and Kyle Breitkopf all star in the film.
