Prepare for one of the greatest ever Game of Thrones episodes.
It goes without saying that spoilers are coming.
When it comes to Game of Thrones, we all know that the penultimate episodes of every season are special.
Baelor saw Ned Stark lose his head as the War of the Five Kings went into overdrive. From that moment on, Game of Thrones fans knew that nobody was safe.
Episode 9 of Season 2 saw Stannis Baratheon’s forces lay siege to King’s Landing at Blackwater Bay until Tyrion’s clever plan absolutely obliterated the Lord of Dragonstone in a haze of wildfire.
House Stark will never accept another wedding invitation again as The Rains of Castamere became synonymous with the utter shock, horror and drama that unfolded at the Red Wedding.
The battle between the Night’s Watch and the wildlings finally arrived as The Watchers on the Wall faced their toughest challenge yet. Under Jon Snow’s leadership, they rallied and did their very best to stop Mance Rayder’s army in the second last episode of Season 4.
Princess Shireen Baratheon was burned alive as The Dance of Dragons saw Stannis Baratheon lose what was left of his soul.
And finally, the Battle of the Bastards redefined the scope and scale of modern TV because what unfolded on the fields of Winterfell will go be remembered as one of – if not THE greatest- episode of TV.
Simply put, the second last episode of every Game of Thrones season is breathtaking.
Ladies and gents, prepare to great ‘death as the enemy’ because Jon Snow will be leading  his suicide squad beyond the Wall as they take on the White Walkers and their army of wights in the next episode.
As always, keep reading because we’ll break down the trailer for you frame-by-frame.

Hammer time
Notice how The Hound is using Gendry’s hammer here? Could Robert Baratheon’s bastard be in some trouble?
Familiar foes
Jon has a chance to take out another one of the Night King’s generals, just like he did at Hardhome.
To the rescue.
The gates at Castle Black are opening up.
Are they going out to fight and join Jon, or are they desperately running out to rescue what’s left of the party?
Fire and blood.

He’s down off the horse.
Could we finally be seeing the Night King in combat mode?
