From the minds behind Get Out, Insidious, The Purge, Split and Sinister.
2017 was a vintage year for the horror genre and 2018 is shaping up to be another solid year for people that love scary movies – take a look at our 2018 horror preview here.
If you love being terrified then it’s very likely that you know just how popular the films of Blumhouse Productions have been at the box-office. Since launching in 2000, they’ve earned a reputation as for producing low-budget horror films, such as Get Out, Insidious, The Purge, Split, Paranormal Activity, Sinister and The Gift, that always perform remarkably well at the box-office.
In fact, Paranormal Activity was made for $15,000 and went on to gross over $193 million worldwide. They definitely know how to make a horror film that’s embraced by the public.
Having seen the trailer for their new film, Truth or Dare, we got a strong sense of It Follows, Final Destination and The Ring being mixed together.
Plot’s it all about?: A harmless game of “Truth or Dare” among friends turns deadly when someone-or something-begins to punish those who tell a lie-or refuse the dare.
