He’s D.E.N.N.I.S systeming us all.
Given the fact that It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is better than banging hooooooors while eating rum ham, fans of the superb comedy are eagerly awaiting the gang’s return. Given the fact that Season 12 ended up on something of a cliffhanger – no, it’s not Mac’s dildo bike – but rather the revelation that Dennis was leaving Paddy’s Pub to spend some time with his son.
In recent months, Always Sunny fans have worried about the dynamic of the gang if ‘The Golden God’ leaves, but fear not. In an interview with the Television Critics Association, Glenn Howerton said: “I’ve not officially left yet and I hope people understand that.”
The five-star man also said that he “absolutely” has the time to juggle Always Sunny and his new show, A.P. Bio.
This would probably entail a few “guest appearances” from Dennis throughout the next season of Always Sunny.
As reported previously, Always Sunny has been renewed for two more seasons so there’s still plenty of time for Mac to cultivate mass and for Charlie to write a sequel to The Nightman Cometh. As for Dee – that bitch – she’s still a bird.
Regarding the future schedule of the show, Howerton said: “I don’t know if this is going to turn into a ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ thing where we make them when we can or if it’s gonna pick up where it left off and it’s gonna be every year again. I don’t really know. We’ve talked about that. We love the show and we love each other and we want to keep doing it and if we can get away with just doing it whenever we want, why not?. Creatively speaking, we just want the show to be good, so if any of us is feeling burned out and we feel like it’s gonna compromise the quality of the show, we just won’t do it.”
We wonder if family life will make Dennis more chilled?
Definitely not….because of the implication.
