2017 gave us some great movies.
Get Out, Dunkirk, The Last Jedi and many, many more are films we’ll be watching for years to come. But what about 2018?
We’ve already started to get trailers for next year’s heavy hitters – Avengers: Infinity War, Ocean’s 8 and Deadpool 2 already have got people pretty excited by their recent promo clips.
US ticket booking company Fandango have been polling their users, and here are the official top ten most anticipated movies of 2018, according to ticket buyers. Unsurprisingly, Marvel movies top out the list, with Avengers and Black Panther taking first and second spots, and Deadpool in at number four. Squeezing in between them is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Other films on the list include Incredibles 2, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. Here’s the full top ten:
- Avengers: Infinity War (May 4)
- Black Panther (Feb. 16)
- Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (June 22)
- Deadpool 2 (June 1)
- Solo: A Star Wars Story (May 25)
- Incredibles 2 (June 15)
- Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald (Nov. 16)
- A Wrinkle in Time (March 9)
- X-Men: Dark Phoenix (Nov. 2)
- Ocean’s 8 (June 8)
Of course, some (or all) of these still turn out to be stinkers. But we’re pretty excited about most of them.
