Netflix has just announced some of the new titles that will be streaming in UK in May – and there are some doozies.
TL;DR version: it’s good news for fans of It’s Always Sunny In Philadephia. And X-Men.
TV
Marseille
Gerard Depardieu plays the mayor of the titular French port city in this story of greed, drugs, backstabbery and corruption that will make House Of Cards look like an episode of Countryfile.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia (Season 11)
Where would we be without the most despicable five people on television? Back watching that Seinfeld box-set, in all likelihood.
Bloodline (Season 2)
The first season was a slow-burning, tightly-written piece of television as Ben Mendelsohn’s less-than-prodigal son returned to wreak havoc among a well-to-do Florida family, and the second series promises to be just as engrossing.

Absolutely Fabulous (Seasons 1 to 5 and 2012 Olympic Special)
You may have loved it, you may have hated it, but you can’t deny it was one of the most influential television comedies of the 1990s.
Chef’s Table (Season 2)
Arguably the best documentary series on food that you’ll find on Netflix, this series looks at the lives of some of the world’s most talented chefs. Guaranteed to make you feel very, very hungry.
Film
X-Men
The original, and still the best.
Thomas Quick: The Making Of A Serial Killer
We won’t say too much about this one, but it will fill the Making A Murderer-sized hole in your lives (you could also just re-watch Making A Murderer).
Bad Neighbours
Zac Efron and Seth Rogen do battle in this watchable comedy about neighbours that aren’t very good at being neighbours at all.
