Superb.
The right to free speech is an important principle in any stable democracy and the same can be said for a relationship. Thankfully for anyone that tuned into the Channel 4 news, they were treated to both as a full-on row was captured on live TV.
On yesterday’s broadcast, Andrew Pierce was speaking to presenter Cathy Newman about a censorship row that’s developed between the Daily Mail and Virgin Trains.
In case you haven’t heard, Virgin Trains will no longer carry the newspaper.
In a statement to the BBC, they said: “There’s been considerable concern raised by colleagues about the Mail’s editorial position on issues such as immigration, LGBT rights, and unemployment. We’ve decided that this paper is not compatible with the VT brand and our beliefs. We will continue to offer The Times to customers, but we won’t be stocking the Daily Mail for sale or as a giveaway. This won’t suit all of our customers or all of our people – it’s certain to draw some criticism. But we’ve listened to many colleagues over the last few months, and we feel that this is the right move to take.”
Like any point of contention, the Channel 4 news gave The Daily Mail a chance to reply to this development but the news segment was overshadowed by a very different row.
Take a look at this man and woman screaming at each other walk straight into shot behind Mr. Pierce.
When you have a domestic live on the @Channel4News 🤣🤣🤣 pic.twitter.com/VHUiFObkl3

Ah, live TV.
The playground for little children that fancy gatecrashing a chat about South Korean politics, studios being evacuated because of a fire drill and now, two people that are screaming f**k off at the top of their lungs.
Truth be told, it’s what the public wants to see.
Terribly sad to see a couple split up live on tv like that @Channel4News 😂😂
