A tribute to Pat Sharp, Chris Waddle, Jared Leto, David Bowie has appeared in Sheffield.
This 7ft mural featuring Bowie as Aladdin Sane, created by artist Trik, sits on the corner of a street in the city centre.

The self-taught artist (who we surely all feel a bit sorry for) says he might repaint it after seeing the criticism, telling the BBC: “I’m looking at the reaction right now. It’s not very nice to see people talking about me as an artist.
“I’m going to get a picture of it, so it will be fine, but I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do.”
Like when we receive crap bubble bath at Christmas, it’s the thought that counts, right? RIGHT?
