With Christmas on the horizon, it’s almost certain that Home Alone will feature at some point on the festive telly schedule.
Incredibly, this year marks 25 years since its release. If that alone isn’t enough to make you feel that your life is passing you by at break-neck speed, what follows almost certainly will.
Macauley Culkin’s performance as Kevin McCallister in Home Alone and Home Alone 2 saw him find a number of ways of outsmarting two would-be burglars, who became known as the ‘Wet Bandits’.
One of the pair, Marv, is played by actor Daniel Stern who turned 58 this year.
When the film was first released in 1990, Stern would have been 33 – two years younger than Macauley Culkin is now.
