Remember the name… Mike Jensen!
Who?
A 28-year-old Danish midfielder plying his trade for Rosenberg wouldn’t typically strike you as a future world beater, but thanks to a recent update in FIFA 17’s Ultimate Team mode, Mike Jensen has just become one of the hottest properties in world football.

As reported by Gamesradar’s FIFA 17 expert Ben Wilson, the Mike Jensen hype has to do with a little update the player has received thanks to featuring in the “FUT Team Of The Week”.
Thanks to a stats boost, Jensen now boasts better in-game skills than more famous players such as Fernandinho, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Steven Gerrard. He’s even better than Kevin “my fitness will decide the title race” de Bruyne.
The stats boost has turned Jensen from a unknown Europa League jobber to the 38th best player in FIFA 17, according to FIFA Ultimate Team site Futhead.
To FIFA Ultimate Team players, these stats are like mana from heaven.
Better still, at time of writing Jensen is only a silver card, making him available for competitions which gold players are ineligible, despite having far better stats than gold carded players.
As Ben Wilson explains, in the world of FIFA Ultimate Team, Jensen is the second coming of Andreas Iniesta: “82 ball control, 80 dribbling, 78 short pass, 87 shot power, 78 long shots, 81 vision, 83 composure, 87 stamina, and so on. He’s the complete midfielder.”
But, and there’s always a but, the cat is now out the bag regarding Jensen’s prowess, with the midfielder’s price steadily rising.
According to Wilson, the cheapest buy-it-now price you can find for him is now 22,000 coins, and it’s certain to rise as people find out about the Dane’s skills.
If you’re into FIFA Ultimate Team, get him while he’s cheap. Just make sure you buy the in-form silver card, rather than bog standard Jensen.
