EA Sports are in trouble again.
We’ve already seen England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane scoff at his FIFA 17 shooting stats, Chelsea new boy Michy Batshuayi pour scorn on the game’s rating of his passing ability and Adebayo Akinfenwa use multiple angry face emojis in reaction to his almost insultingly slow pace.
Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah is the latest player to have a moan, but his issue isn’t how he performs in the game – rather that his avatar looks absolutely nothing like him.

The 18-year-old Dutchman broke into Louis van Gaal’s United side last season and the performances he put in for his fellow countryman earned him his first call-up to the Netherlands senior squad.
But the versatile defender is yet to feature in Jose Mourinho’s new-look team, which is perhaps why EA Canada haven’t made the time to nail his likeness in this year’s FIFA.

It sounds as though Fosu-Mensah missed out on the face scanning that big-name players being put into the game are supposed to receive.
Fans took to Twitter with various methods of trying to console the promising youngster.
One guy pointed out that even if he wasn’t chuffed with the resemblance, Fosu-Mensah’s ratings card is actually pretty respectable.
Who needs a face scan when you have a beast card like this 😉😉 pic.twitter.com/rVt5Bv5xs9

Another brought his attention to PES’s attempt which, to be honest isn’t much better.

EA have a lot of explaining to do.
