Hanks is currently promoting the Elvis biopic
There are concerns for Tom Hanks’ health after he appeared unable to control his shaking hand on stage earlier this month.
In recent weeks, the 65-year-old has been promoting Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis Presley biopic, which is set to be released later this month.
The film was predominantly shot in Gold Coast, Australia, and Luhrmann arranged an Australian premiere to be held there on June 4.
Whilst on stage at the premiere in the Australian city though, the Forrest Gump actor appeared to be unable to stop his hand from shaking, the Mail Online reports.
Standing on the stage in front of an audience, Tom began: “There is no better place in the world to make a motion picture than right here on the Gold Coast.”
“I’ve shot films in Morocco and Los Angeles and New York City and Seattle and in Berlin,” he continued, while holding the microphone in his right hand and with his left hand in his pocket.
Whilst he jokes about a chain of liquor stores in the city called Dan Murphy’s, the actor’s right hand is visibly shaking.

Hanks makes an attempt to control the shaking by placing his left hand underneath the microphone, before trying to switch hands completely.
He finished: “We had an absolutely magnificent time with you all.
“There is something about the people and the place of the Gold Coast that makes everyone walk around with a confident look on their face. We were a part of that.
“Your confidence, joy and zest for life comes through in our motion picture.”
Elvis is a biopic about the singer’s life, with Austin Butler playing the role of the ‘King of Rock and Roll.’
Hanks stars as the singer’s manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
The film is set to hit screens in the US and the UK on June 24.
