Right now, there’s an abundance of quality movies for film fans to see in their local cinema. Dunkirk, Baby Driver, The Big Sick, War for the Planet of the Apes, It Comes at Night and Spider-Man: Homecoming have all earned impressive reviews, but as the summer blockbuster season reaches its end, Oscar season is quickly approaching.
With films like Detroit, The Paper ,Suburbicon, Goodbye, Christopher Robin, Darkest Hour and The Current War all set to be released in the coming months, it appears that film fans are in for a treat.
Oh yeah, we also have the small matter of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Thor: Ragnarok, The Dark Tower, IT and plenty more to look forward to.
If you’re heading to the cinema, one man that consistently gives an honest, intelligent and entertaining opinion is the renowned film critic Mark Kermode.
