What we’ve all been waiting for…
As always, if you haven’t seen the most recent episode of Game of Thrones then consider this to be your spoiler alert.
Again, we’re giving you a second spoiler alert, just because we’re nice.
The Queen is Dead. Long Live the Queen!
As soon as the bells started to chime in King’s Landing, the entire complexion of Game of Throne was changed forever as Daenerys embraced the very worst traits of her father and became The Mad Queen.
Of course, Cersei previously destroyed all of her enemies – and plenty of innocent people too – via wildfire and it’s fitting that Dany did the exact same thing when Drogon obliterated the capital in a storm of fire and blood.
Despite the cruel and unhinged mental state of Daenerys, we’ve a very strong feeling that Jon Snow and Tyrion will be doing their very best to stop Dany’s bloodlust and terror in the next episode.
On that note, the big question is still there as the finale approaches, who will take the Iron Throne?
Jon doesn’t want it and Daenerys has clearly lost her mind. One thing is certain, we’re in for one hell of an episode.
After Jaime, Cersei, The Mountain, The Hound, Euron, Varys, and countless other all recently met their maker, we’re sure that the very last episode of Game of Thrones is going to have a few major twists in store.
As always, JOE will be publishing plenty of pieces about the latest episode when everyone has had a chance to watch it later this evening – we’re nice like that – but if you stayed up until 02:00 to watch the episode, here’s a taste of what’s to come in the finale.
Valar Morghulis.
