This is going to be a cracker
Amazon Prime has dropped what we imagine to be the final trailer for their Tottenham Hotspur documentary, All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, and it looks set to be thrilling.
The hotly anticipated documentary series will be out on August 31, and will cover what has been a very interesting season for Spurs, during which former manager Mauricio Pochettino was sacked, and Jose Mourinho replaced him.
The new trailer begins with an interviewer asking Jose if the perceptions of him – “The guy never smiles. The guy is ruthless.” – are true. Jose’s response?
“The truth is that there is some truth on it,” he says, before quickly laughing his head off.
The trailer looks at Jose taking over at the club in late 2019, and features a neat little clip of Serge Aurier trying to do keepie-uppies in the changing room, and instead ends up knocking over what appears to be a mug of tea.
All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur is Amazon’s third documentary focusing on an English football club, after All or Nothing: Manchester City and Take Us Home: Leeds United.
Both of their earlier documentaries were praised for their level of access and, in some cases, their depth, and with the volatility experienced in football and at Spurs over the past 10 months, their latest offering could be their best yet.
