Denzel Washington is an absolute legend. Just for emphasis, here is a list of things that I’d watch Denzel Washington in:
Denzel reads the phonebook. Yep, 100%.
Denzel races a turtle for two hours at the turtle’s pace. Future Oscar winner.
Denzel in The Taking of Pelham 123. Yep, sadly that film was actually made and I’ve seen that too. It’s crap but Denzel is still Denzel.
Basically, what I’m saying here is that while The Equalizer wasn’t the best film of the last decade, it still had some great scenes of Mr Washington laying the smackdown. Does anyone else remember that scene with the barbed wire?
