More people are coming forward every hour
Rappers Travis Scott and Drake could pay “billions” in damages as a lawsuit involving 68 injured attendees was announced on Wednesday November 10.
Texas “powerhouse” attorney Thomas J. Henry says he is being contacted by more people “by the hour” in relation to the tragic handling of the Astroworld festival that resulted in eight dead, reports the Mail Online.
At least 18 lawsuits have reportedly been filed against Travis Scott and organizers of the Astroworld festival that killed 8 people. Another 9-year-old victim is in a medically induced coma.

Though eight people were killed at NRG Stadium on Friday night, a further 300 received treatment at an emergency field hospital, 11 others went into cardiac arrest and even more were knocked unconscious from stampeding crowds.
“More and more injured victims are contacting my firm by the hour,” said Henry.
“While we are all still working to understand the full scope of the Astroworld tragedy, I believe the damages suffered by its victims could total in the billions.”

One client, 23-year-old Kristian Paredes, accuses both Drake and Scott of “inciting mayhem” at the festival.
Paredes says he was left “severely injured” and is demanding $1 million to cover his recovery costs.
“The crowd became chaotic and a stampede began,” the complaint reads.
“Many begged security guards hired by Live Nation Entertainment for help, but were ignored.

“As Drake came onstage alongside of Travis Scott he helped incite the crowd even though he knew of Travis Scott’s prior conduct,” the complaint further reads.
Most known for his work on the George Floyd and Breonna Taylor cases, Attorney Ben Crump, is also filing a suit against Astroworld with colleague Bob Hilliard.

“We are hearing horrific accounts of the terror and helplessness people experienced – the horror of a crushing crowd and the awful trauma of watching people die while trying unsuccessfully to save them,” Crump and Hilliard said.
“We urge others who suffered physical or emotional injury or witnessed the events of that day to contact us.”
