The pathway to becoming a WWE superstar
WWE has unveiled a new Performance Centre in the UK, to develop the British stars of the future.
The facility near London is the first WWE training centre outside the US, and boasts “17,000 square feet, two training rings, world-class strength and conditioning equipment and versatile content creation infrastructure”.
Triple H introduced the centre to the world on Friday morning, and JOE was there get the inside story from The Game himself.
“This is the latest milestone in our global localization strategy and the next step in establishing local NXT brands around the world,” said Triple H, in a statement prior to the event. “We are incredibly proud to open the UK Performance Center and provide our NXT UK Superstars the same world-class coaching and development programs that we deliver at WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.”
Also in attendance to mark the opening of the centre were current WWE superstars Finn Balor and Charlotte Flair, and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.
The UK performance centre was first announced by WWE UK Champion Pete Dunne, Tyler Bate and Trent Seven on Good Morning Britain.

More than 30 European-based wrestlers signed to the NXT UK brand will train at the centre.
Last year, WWE launched the British off-shoot, which has its own weekly show on the WWE Network, and has its first live TakeOver special on Saturday evening.
The original WWE Performance Centre opened in Orlando, Florida, in 2013, and is home to their developmental system NXT.
The UK Performance Centre is intended to be first of many training facilities outside the USA.
