Exclusive Narcos clip shows Pablo Escobar at his intimidating best in season two teaser

We can't wait

If you’re not heading out this weekend, the chances are you’ll be diving straight in to the second season of Netflix hit, Narcos.

We’ve been sent an exclusive clip of the new series, which continues to chart the rise and fall of Colombian drug lord, Pablo Escobar.

Picking up where season one left off, we find Escobar, head of the notorious Medellin Cartel, on the run from authorities after escaping his own self-designed prison.

The following clip may only last just a minute and 15 seconds, but the tension still manages to jump off the screen.

It’s all about *that* stare.

The first season of the cartel drama, which first appeared on Netflix last year, covered over a decade of Escobar’s life, showing his rise from trafficker to one of the wealthiest drug lords on the planet. His escape from imprisonment brings viewers to July, 1992.

Although the series is a dramatisation, history gives us a pretty good clue how things are going to end up for Pablo. The ten episodes that make up season two will focus on the hunt and eventual death, which occurred on December 2, 1993.

Enjoy it while you can.

Narcos will be streaming on Netflix from Friday 2 September.
