The return of Pablo Escobar.
Before Game of Thrones season six, before Making a Murderer, and long before the European Championships took over our lives we were a little bit obsessed with Narcos.
The Netflix series was not perfect, but featured a central performance from Wagner Moura – playing Pablo Escobar – that brought everyone along despite some dodgy narration.
The show documents Escobar’s rise from poverty to untold wealth, and how he eventually became one of the most wanted men on the planet.
Well, the second series is coming and Netflix have just announced that all ten episodes will be available to stream at 8.01am on 2 September.
Moura will return as the most infamous drug baron in history, alongside Boyd Holbrook and Pedro Pascal.
Fans of the show were predictably delighted with the news…
