Moses J. Moseley, who starred as a zombie in the hit television show The Walking Dead, has been found dead from a gunshot wound.
According to TMZ, the actor was discovered in the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, a city on the outskirts of Atlanta.
Authorities have said they are investigating his death as a possible suicide, with relatives saying they hadn’t heard from the 31-year-old since January 23.
His representative, Tabatha Minchew, explained to The Wrap: “He wasn’t just a client for me. We have been best friends for 10 years. He was at my wedding.
“Everyone who ever met him loved him, no one has ever had anything negative to say about him. When he was around everyone was so happy.
“He made everyone so happy. We’re all trying to wrap our heads around it as well.”
According to IMDb, Moseley’s film credits date back to 2009. He appeared in the films Joyful Noise, starring Queen Latifah and Dolly Parton, The Internship, starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, with Jennifer Lawrence.
He also had roles in the TV shows Watchmen, Blood Scroll: Horror Stories and Queen of the South.
However he landed his biggest role in 2012 when he appeared on The Walking Dead as one of Michonne’s pet zombies.
He continued to spend three years on the show.
In a tweet, AMC, the cable network that produced The Walking Dead, said: “Our thoughts and prayers are with our #TWDFamily member Moses J. Moseley.”

Jeremy Palko, who played Andy on the show from 2016 to 2017, also paid tribute to his co-star, posting a picture of himself with Moseley on Twitter on Monday afternoon.
“Heartbroken to hear of the passing of @MosesMoseley Just an absolute kind and wonderful human being You will be missed my friend. #TWDFamily,” he wrote.
