Warner Bros. and Legendary have confirmed that Godzilla and King Kong will face off in their own feature film in 2020.
Following on from the success of last year’s Godzilla film, the iconic Japanese lizard will be getting its own sequel (the creatively titled Godzilla 2) in 2018. It’s expected to feature some classic foes such as King Ghidorah, Mothra, and Rodan.
King Kong, meanwhile, will be getting his own origin film a year earlier with Kong: Skull Island. The film will star Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brie Larson and is due to be released on March 10, 2017.
Until then, we’ll have to settle for this –Â the last time the two faced off…
