Homecoming comes home next week…
Last weekend brought the exciting news that Netflix and Beyoncé have joined forces for a brand new documentary.
Homecoming is the name of that very project, with the movie promising an intimate look at Beyoncé’s impressive turn at 2018’s Coachella music festival.
That night was pretty much instantly hailed as “iconic” because that’s how the Internet reacts to things in real-time nowadays.
In fairness, it was a belter of a set with an important message and definitely worthy of assigning a camera crew to.
Homecoming will focus on the concept behind the performance, as Beyoncé seeks to pay homage to America’s historically black colleges and universities.
The film will feature candid, all-access footage and interviews as the megastar takes her vision from script to stage, realising a cultural movement in the process.
