The next film in the Star Wars series will tell the story of Hans Solo.
This much, we already knew.
Now though, thanks to director Ron Howard, it’s been revealed that it will be known as “Solo: A Star Wars Story”.
Howard tweeted a video of himself on Monday afternoon, thanking the film’s cast and crew as they wrapped up production. With a little help from Chewbacca, he signs off by turning a large board to face the camera lens. On it: the new film’s name.
Howard was a late arrival to the production of the film after Lucasfilm and its previous directors – Phil Lord and Chris Miller – agreed to part ways after disagreements.
Hey #Twitterville we just wrapped production so here's a special message #StarWars pic.twitter.com/8QJqN5BGxr

The film is scheduled for a release on May 25. Three weeks too late for those of us that like obvious Star Wars-related jokes.
