Ask anyone who’s ever appeared on a TV gameshow and they’ll tell you that it’s much, much more difficult to answer questions in a studio than it is when you’re just sitting on your couch at home.
With this in mind, we’re willing to put what happened to one contestant on Thursday night’s episode of The Chase down to nerves.
Charan, a technology teacher for those with sight-impairment, failed to make it through to the final chase, but her performance in the cash builder round caused quite a reaction on social media.
Having passed her first question, Charan correctly answered the second, putting £1,000 in the prize fund. Having done so, she went on to pass the remaining 13 questions – much to the bemusement of many watching.
“Well, I think you passed a few,” host Bradley Walsh remarked.

Many particularly enjoyed it, calling Charan a hero and describing it as ‘the greatest moment in the history’ of the show.
