Finally, we know!
Shane Richie has confirmed when his new spin-off EastEnders show, Redwater, will be on TV.
The six-part series was filmed last year in Ireland and is based on a storyline which developed on EastEnders last year which saw Kat and Alfie finding out about their long lost son and how they planned to go search for him.
Up until now, it’s been unclear as to when it was due to be on TV and it even got drawn out when the suggested dates kept changing but now Shane has put fans out of their misery with an approximate start date.
According to Digital Spy, he was on The One Show last night when he said:
“We filmed it for five months last year and it will hopefully be hitting the BBC screens between March and April.
Hopefully me and Jessie will be coming here to talk about it and hopefully show you an exclusive trailer. We are so excited about it.”
We can’t wait for the trailer.
