The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is ready to channel his inner Robin Williams
Will Smith has given Disney fans a reason to get excited tonight.
Taking to Instagram – does he do anything else these days? – he revealed the first poster for the new live-action remake of Aladdin.
Accompanying the poster with a caption that began: “LEMME OUT!!” Smith followed it up by saying, “Can’t wait for y’all to see me BLUE!,” alluding to his role as Genie.
Directed by Guy Ritchie, Aladdin also stars Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine, Marwan Kenzari as Jafar, as well as Billy Magnussen and Nasim Pedrad as both a new character and a friend to Jasmine.

The original Aladdin was released as an animated movie in 1992, starred Robin Williams as Genie and went on to take home two Oscars and earn $504 million at the worldwide box office.
Smith previously shared the first photo of the cast but until now nothing else had been revealed.
Opening May 24th 2019, Aladdin will be followed by another live-action Disney remake in July the same year as Jon Favreau is set to unleash Lion King.
Will Smith turned 50 last month and to celebrate he decided to do a bungee jump out of a helicopter over the Grand Canyon.
While it’s not a normal person’s cup of tea, Will Smith isn’t a normal person. In fact, we’re not entirely sure that Will Smith is even human.
He’s faced off against aliens, robots, drug dealers, the Joker, tech geniuses, zombies and the toughest of them all, Uncle Phil, and he always comes out on top.
Who else do you know could do that? We’ll wait.
