When it comes to t-shirt muscles, chest is best.
Yes, you can pump those biceps up…but nothing beats having a chest plate like a silverback gorilla for the weekend.
You might have already hit your chest on Monday. After all it’s everyone’s favourite way to kick off the week.
But f**k it – hitting it again won’t hurt. It’s what Get Swole Friday is all about.
JOE recently had a chat with Geordie Shore star Joel Corry, who won the Overall Men’s Fitness Title at the Miami Pro.
And he told us his ideal Get Swole Friday workout…
Cable Cross Overs – 3 sets of 15 reps
Hit them from high to low and really squeeze your chest. They will bring out the striations in your muscle.
Incline dumbbell press – 3 sets of 6-8 reps
When you hit the chest press at an incline you bring will also hit the anterior delts which is great for filling your t-shirt.
Dumbbell pull-overs – 3 sets of 8-12 reps
These were a favourite with Arnold Schwarzenegger and will really add thickness to your chest.
Decline press on the hammer strength machine – 3 sets of 6-8 reps
The decline press will activate the lower portion of the muscle and help build up the whole chest.
