How do movie stars get in shape?
When we see a film star in astonishingly good shape, the majority of us assume that they had all the time in the world to get to that level. What else would they be doing between films? Living normal lives?
But that’s not actually how it works. When an actor wins a role in a film which requires them to get in ridiculous shape, they don’t have a huge amount of time to maintain that shape.
Many are on set for between 12 and 14 hours a day, meaning that they are forced to find time either in the morning or at night to get their shifts in the gym in.
David Kingsbury is a personal trainer to film stars like Hugh Jackman and Michael Fassbender. He sat down with JOE to explain how film stars get into tip-top shape.
