A survey conducted by independent survey centre Numbeo has revealed that British people enjoy some of the best healthcare in Europe.
Of the 32 countries surveyed, the UK finished in the top half at 11th place, with a similar ranking to countries like Iceland, Norway and Sweden.
France topped the list earning a score of 82.25, with Denmark and Belgium following close behind.
Meanwhile, Ireland ranked nearly dead last, with only Ukraine collecting a worse score than our neighbours over the sea.
The HealthCare Index is a comparison of the overall quality of the health care system, including health care professionals, equipment, staff, doctors and cost.
