In case you hadn’t realised, we’re big fans of Hafthor Bjornsson here at JOE.
Ever since he made his debut on Game Of Thrones as The Mountain (aka Gregor Clegane), we’ve studied him in the hopes of becoming as big a beast as he is.
We’ve compared what he looked like before he started training to become the powerhouse that he is now, and studied the diet that helped him become a two-time World’s Strongest Man finalist.
When he’s not competing, the Iceland strongman eats fairly cleanly – but come competition time, he kicks things up a notch with a ridiculous 10,000-calorie diet (and no, you shouldn’t try it at home).
And it’s hard to argue with the results when he’s able to tap into his beast mode over and over again – though his arm-wrestling technique still needs some work.
Bjornsson has been crowned Iceland’s strongest man five times before, and it looks like he’s hoping to take back the crown he has won every year since 2011 with this ridiculous workout.
While any normal person would ask for a few mates to help push their car round the corner if they ran out of petrol, the 6ft 9in, 400lb giant was seen pulling a 17-tonne truck as he prepares for yet another strongman competition.
