A new US company – ‘High Speed’ – promises to have your next hangover situation sorted…
Following a local 2014 drugs legislation bill titled ‘Initiative 71’, it is now legal to possess up to two ounces of cannabis in the Washington DC area.
‘High Speed’ is just one of many companies that has been looking to capitalise on the legal weed boom lately with a novelty start-up gimmick.
According to the High Speed site, the practice is perfectly legal because the weed is just a ‘gift’ which comes free with the ridiculously expensive juice or shake:
“Thanks to Initiative 71 it is perfectly legal to possess up to 2 ounces of dry consumable cannabis. We sell niche foods and drinks not cannabis. We give cannabis as a gift! It is legal to transfer up to an ounce of cannabisas long as no money, goods or services are exchanged.”
Now that weed is legal in 13 US states, has been scientifically proven to cure hangovers and is recognised in America as an official religion, there’s no excuse for residents of DC to not indulge in a little… leafing around. Hehe.
