Domino’s Pizza’s new invention going to let you order food via a simple emoji

We know you’ve been wondering, wondering how long it’s going to be before someone takes the millennial obsession with communicating solely through the use of yellow smiley faces and puts it to good use.

Well allow us to inform you that the next time you fancy getting a pizza in on a Friday night, all you’ll need to do is employ one singular emoji and you can have a hot pepperoni in transit within seconds.

“How has this boundary-shifting breakthrough in takeaways come about?”, you ask. (We’re going to assume the other half of your brain is thinking about pizza).

It’s all down to Domino’s and their new Facebook messenger bot, Dom.

Ordering pizza is never less than tempting, but Domino’s’ Easy Order theoretically takes away any of the hassle.

First you’re going to have to sign up for a Easy Order account over on the Domino’s website, where you can provide a delivery address and select your favourite pizza.

Then you pair the account with the Facebook Messenger app. From that point on all you’ll need to do is open up a chat window with your new robot pal “Dom”, and message the word “PIZZA” or an emoji to trigger the order. It’ll even work with your Apple Watch if you’re in that gang.
