If you want an extra sausage, that’ll be a fiver
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been widely mocked online for charging £19 for a full English breakfast.
On Sunday, Ramsay tweeted announcing the breakfast that will be available at London’s swanky Savoy Grill.
“The most amazing Full English…. can’t wait for you to try it from 21st September at Savoy Grill,” read the tweet.

According to the menu on the Savoy Grill website, the standard Gordon Ramsay breakfast costs £19.
Extra sides are £5 each, including sausages, eggs (any style), avocado, black pudding, grilled mushroom, smoked back bacon or salmon. White or brown toast is just £4.
The menu describes the breakfast as “a quintessentially British breakfast [with] pork sausage, smoked back bacon, tomato, mushroom, baked beans, eggs any style.”
Despite the description, the image Gordon Ramsay tweeted did not actually include baked beans.
A standard full English breakfast at Wetherspoons costs £4.50, according to the menu on their website, with a large breakfast being £5.99.
And if after all this you want come content based around a proper greasy spoon fry up, here is what happened when we went down to try London’s biggest breakfast at Fat Boys cafe in Croydon:
"That's 1.2 kilos of chips…you have one hour to eat it."
