Most other ice creams contain three times as many calories
Low calorie ice cream sensation Halo Top has launched its newest flavour – Gooey Brownie.
The brand believe it’s an ideal sweet treat for long, harsh winter nights that will not impact on your waistline. An entire tub contains just 380 calories, roughly a third of what you’d find in most other ice creams.
Available from November onwards, the new Gooey Chocolate Brownie version can be found at Tesco and Tesco Express stores across the country.
It will cost £5 per tub.
True to its name, this brand new flavour is crafted from heavenly dark chocolate with ‘jet black’ ice cream loaded with smooth fudge swirls and chunks of chocolate brownie.
You may already be familiar with Halo Top’s existing flavours, which include Birthday Cake, Peanut Butter Cup and the most popular variety, Sea Salt Caramel.
Halo Top first launched in the UK in January 2018. Gooey Brownie is the brand’s newest dairy tub to join the roster, which includes the popular better-for-you range of dairy and non-dairy tubs, in addition to the perfectly portioned and snack-able Halo Top bars.
Halo Top’s chief marketing officer Ryan Bouton said: “Gooey Brownie is one of our most indulgent flavours to date, and so it feels only right to launch at the time of year when Brits are tucking into treats on cold winter nights.
“We’ve been working to perfect this flavour for some time as our dairy range has been lacking the perfect chocolate tub. Gooey Brownie fills this void with a flavour that our fans can feel good about indulging in this season.”
A number of popular food chains have added new items to their menus in time for Christmas.
Just today, Subway launched a brand new pig-in-blanket tiger bread sub. Calories kinda go out of the window on that one, though.
