We scoured the supermarkets for a lunch high in protein but low in calories, saturated fat and salt
Hey, don’t be so hard on yourself. Sometimes meal prep for the entire week isn’t an option. Sometimes life, in the form of a busy schedule, or more likely an evening spent in the pub, just gets in the way.
With that in mind, we went to high-street supermarkets Co-op, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Boots and Tesco to scour the shelves for the healthiest meal deal options out there. After all, you don’t always have to opt for the usual roast chicken and bacon and pack of Monster Munch to go with. You can bag yourself a quick and easy meal deal lunch whilst staying on course for your health and fitness goals.
Here’s how we got on.
What is the healthiest meal deal you can have for lunch?
