Wham bars, Billy Bear Ham, Vanilla Ice Cream Monster Munch. Sometimes you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone.
But it’s not just food from our childhoods that produces pangs of nostalgia. Sometimes we’ll find ourselves longing for something that we were able to sink our teeth into just a few months ago.
When Nando’s introduced its Sunset Burger last year, there was outcry. Not because the new addition wasn’t great, but because its arrival came at the expense of the treasured Churrasco Thigh Burger.
It plunged the country into crisis, with no one able to think about anything else.

After such uproar, Nando’s surely knew that there was only one thing to do – they had to give people a chance to properly say goodbye to the cherished menu item.
‘Have you ever had a relationship end before you were ready? Did you ever wish you could meet one last time? For Nando’s Churrasco Burger fans this fantasy will soon become a reality – right in time for Valentine’s Day,’ a release from the chicken chain reads.
The burger will return to the menu today, and is set to stay there until February 27, when it will disappear forever.
Now, we’re not saying that it will be easy to convince your significant other to visit Nando’s for a Valentine’s Day meal, but this ought to make it slightly easier.
