Christmas is a time for giving… back that chocolate you bought for your family because it might contain a small battery.
It’s not as snappy, is it? What it is, however, is accurate.
As the BBC reports, the Co-op chain of supermarkets have recalled 165,000 chocolate Santa Claus figures because two of the batch are thought to contain small button-cell batteries.
It’s a result of ‘tampering’, we are told, and anyone with concerns has been urged to contact Freephone 0800 0686 727.
The items in question were bought at branches in Suffolk and Essex, the Co-op says, and anyone who has bought one of the items is eligible for a full refund if they contact customer relations to return the product.
