Black Sabbath tickets go on sale for their huge hometown gig today – and this is everything you need to know.

The legendary group will headline the Back to the Beginning show at Villa Park in Birmingham on 5 July.

Fans can get their hands on tickets from Ticketmaster here from 10am on Friday, 14 February.

It’s billed as “the greatest heavy metal show ever” and will mark Sabbath’s first performance together in 20 years with the original band of Ozzy, Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward.

It will mark Osbourne’s final bow concert with the group, with the frontman saying: “It’s my time to go Back to the Beginning, time for me to give back to the place where I was born.”

They’ll be joined by a supporting bill featuring Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Gojira and Alice In Chains to name a few.

Also appearing is ‘supergroup of musicians’ including Duff McKagan and Slash, Billy Corgan, Fred Durst, and Tom Morello.

They go on general sale at 10am GMT on Friday, 14 February via Ticketmaster here.

How much are tickets?

It’s been confirmed that tickets are priced at £412.50 for gold circle standing, £262.50 for general admission standing and £197.50-£662.50 for seated tickets.
