It looks like Childish Gambino is enjoying his summer
Just when you thought today couldn’t get any better with England’s semi-final World Cup match with Croatia incoming, Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover drops two new songs on us.
Announced via his Instagram, the Atlanta creator has dropped off something he’s calling Summer Pack featuring two new songs.
Following up his worldwide smash “This Is America”, the first of the new songs is called “Summertime Magic” and the second is “Feels Like Summer”.
“Summertime Magic” makes you feel like you’re on vacation somewhere in the Caribbean. Complete with steel drums and an incredibly catchy hook, this is typical Glover, giving us something refreshing sure to be played at every BBQ you’re invited to this summer.
“Feels Like Summer”, feels like… well, like summer. Is there a better way to put it? Not really. Made up of acoustic guitar strums, echoing vocal effects and a mid-tempo drum pattern, it provides a relaxing backdrop for Glover to lace with his windy vocal tone.

Childish Gambino will be performing at London’s Lovebox Festival Saturday 14th July and he recently announced a London show at London’s O2 Arena on November 4th 2018.
