Ticket prices have increased again
Festivalgoers have been left speechless after seeing the price of tickets for Glastonbury 2025.
Earlier this year, music lovers were flabbergasted by ticket prices for the Oasis reunion tour. The cost didn’t deter many as tickets sold out instantly with hundreds of thousands of fans left disappointed.
With the deadline to register for tickets to the iconic festival creeping closer, fans have started to weigh up the cost.
This year, the Pyramid Stage at Worthy Farm was headlined by Dua Lipa, Coldplay and SZA as fans descended on Somerset for the five-day festival.
In 2025, Glastonbury will take place on Wednesday, 25 June until Sunday, 29 June and the line-up has yet to be revealed.
In 2024 tickets were £355 for the whole weekend but this price is set to rise in 2025 to £378.50.
The price hike means that since 2019, Glastonbury tickets have increased by a whopping 40 per cent. This is partly due to the Covid pandemic which greatly impacted live events, some of which are still recovering.
Defending the price increase in 2023, organiser Emily Eavis said: “We have tried very hard to minimise the increase in price on the ticket but we’re facing enormous rises in the costs of running this vast show, while still recovering from the huge financial impact of two years without a festival because of Covid.”
In response to the new 2025 ticket prices, fans took to X to vent their frustration.

A third asked: “Who would pay that price for a gig where they don’t know who is playing?”
However, many still think this is a bargain compared to the cost of some individual concert tickets.
“While in comparison to individual gig tickets Glastonbury is good value, it also does price out a lot of people which is a real shame.”
As well as the live music, tickets secure a programme for the festival, an on-site newspaper, and firewood as well as access to kids’ entertainment for those taking children.
